President’s words: looking back at the AGM
On Thursday 19 March 2026 we met again for Centrepoint’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). Not less than 78 members, representing 64 households, joined, a fantastic turnout.

Talk: Life Lessons from Inside a Beehive
Come and join Philip Atkinson, author of ‘Bee Wise – 12 Leadership Lessons from Inside a Beehive’, to lift the lid on the complex lives of bees and reflect on our role as individuals within today’s ecosystem. Bee curious and come and learn more in this fun session.

Photo Competition – SCENES OF WINTER
The competition organised by the photography club has once again been very well received. With 35 ‘masterpieces’ submitted choosing three favourites was a real challenge.

Ayla Allen is from New Zealand. In Dunedin she enjoyed keeping bees and working in administration.

The painter Alvaro de Taddeo (b. 1957) from Basel attended the Humanistic Gymnasium, Muensterplatz Basel, completed a preparatory course at the Basel School of Arts and Crafts and then an apprenticeship as a window dresser.
