ArtWall Vernissage and Exhibition: Visions. Shakespeare. Scenes.
The painter Alvaro de Taddeo (b. 1957) from Basel attended the Humanistic Gymnasium, Muensterplatz Basel, completed a preparatory course at the Basel School of Arts and Crafts and then an apprenticeship as a window dresser.

Join the Wednesday Coffee-Morning of Centrepoint
Every third Wednesday of the month, Wendy hosts this friendly get-together where new and potential members can learn about what Centrepoint is all about. Current members are welcome too!

Landschaftspark Wiese
The former floodplain on the left and right banks of the River Wiese is now a cultural landscape park used for a variety of purposes. The Landschaftspark is also the region’s “drinking water factory”, a nature conservation oasis and an ecological corridor. It is also used for both agriculture and forestry.

Tour of the Andreas Ernst Clock Collection
The Andreas Ernst Collection in Muttenz houses a remarkable collection of antique pendulum clocks dating from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Our tour guide will be John Joseph, a British clock maker and restorer based here in Basel.

Introducing Roxana Sestac, Social Media Coordinator
Originally from Romania, Roxana moved to Basel in the autumn of 2025, beginning a new chapter shaped by curiosity and change. Like many people settling into a new country, she went beyond finding a place to live and began a search for connection, community and belonging.
